MY PICKS FROM IKEA

Recently I've been to IKEA Hyderabad and I found a few pieces that caught my eye. Of course IKEA is known for its unique furniture and you can customize their furniture as well which is great. Apart from furniture, there are a few decor pieces that caught my eye which are very affordable too. So here you go!

A lot of people do not give home decor as much importance as they give to furnishing it. Decor makes the space your's. You can see one's personality and style through their decor pieces.

I like my house to be very minimalistic and clean with loads of greenery around me. That's the vibe I went for while choosing these decor pieces.

• The first thing is I like my house to be smelling great. It up lifts your mood instantly. They have a few different scents available. Potpourri is great for people who don't wanna burn down their house by using scented candles.

• But if you are into scented candles like me, they offer about 5 different scented candles out of which apple cinnamon caught my attention. I am a sucker for apple cinnamon scents.

• I cannot stress on how important the lighting fixtures are in a house. Especially if your house has a great roof height, IKEA is the place to go for. They act like a statement piece in the room.

• Coming to my favorite part, the plants!!! Honestly speaking, there are so many beautiful real plants out there but your girl... for the life of her cannot take care of them. Sorry, not sorry! So I chose fake one's but which are close to looking like the real one's. Here are some tiny cute plants to style them in shelves around the house.

• Even though these plants come with pots, they are black and boring. So to amp up your plant game further, they have got some amazing plat pot collection and accessories.

• Photo frames are another way of showing your personality and life stories through you home decor. I think everybody should have one photo frame wall in their house.

• Love these simple racks where you can style these photo frames, plants, books and so many other pieces. Although you have to buy the shelf and the brackets separately.

There was a new year sale going on when I took these pictures and got a few items for much cheaper prices. I hope this post has helped you guys find something if you are looking to re-do your space.
