Neutrogena Norwegian Lip Moisturizer SPF 15

First of all, let me tell you that my lips are as dry as Sahara dessert. So, when I claim that a lip balm has worked for me, I swear it really did. I have lost the count of how many tubes of this lip balm I have used up. This has been my favorite one ever since my college.

Neutrogena Norwegian lip moisturizer claims to soften, smooth and protect dry and chapped lips. It also comes with PABA - free SPF 15 sun block for added protection. It is also fragrance free

This lip moisturizer comes with an SPF of 15 for added protection apart from saving you from dry lips. Doesn't have a waxy texture unlike the other lip balms that you get in the market for almost the same price range. Although the only con I have observed that it forms a white layer around the inner corner of my lips about 6-8 hours after the application of any lipstick on top of this lip balm. I don't really mind this because it does so much more for the price we pay.

I am also someone who is more inclined towards buying a transparent colored lip balms as to the color infused one's. I find that the formula for the transparent lip balms are way better when it comes to moisturization.

Its priced at Rs. 165 on Nykaa and you can also find it easily available at any Health and Glow stores near you.

Let me share you some tips of how I like to make the most out of my lip balm.

  • Always remember to apply a thick layer of your lip balm at least an hour before going to bed. That way, it'll work its magic on your lips even when you are asleep. Now why an hour before? Its because there are high chances of your lip balm rubbing off to your sheets when you are asleep.

  • Make sure you apply the lip balm as soon as you come out of the shower so that it'll moisturize your lips as much as possible before you apply those liquid lipsticks which makes your lips go through a lot throughout the day. Press your lips against a tissue paper to remove the excess lip balm to get that matte and moisturized look and voila! You are good to go for the rest of the day.
